SmartCapture - Square 9 Softworks has answered this call with a production scanning module for SmartSearch called SmartCapture. SmartCapture is an application that requires very little end user configuration and takes full advantage of the Capture Workflow components embedded into the core SmartSearch solution.
SmartCapture is core to SmartSearch and works using a batch capture and release methodology which allows users to scan records then adjust and edit the images as needed before committing them to the SmartSearch Inbox or Archive.
SmartCapture will hook to any TWAIN based scanning device and can also leverage powerful third party tools such as Kofax VRS to further enhance image quality including auto orientation of the image or sanding and filling of fonts to maximize OCR recognition.
